PicoTOF 400: 400 Picosecond PCI TDC PicoTOF 400 is a single channel 400 picosecond time-to-digital converter on a PCI card. This card features extremely linear and stable time digitization that requires no offline non-linearity correction. It is designed for applications including time-of-flight mass spectrometry, LIDAR, laser remote sensing, flourescence spectroscopy, and single event counting. A programming API and
standalone GUI are included. The GUI can display time or mass histogram plots, and can save data in histogram or list format. PicoTOF 400 is compatible with Windows 2000 and XP.

PicoTOF: TOF Data Acquisition System for Ultra-Fast Particle Detectors We are developing a Time-of-Flight (TOF) detector to significantly extend the reach of the Solenoidal Tracker at RHIC (STAR). This system requires low jitter amplification of 50E-15 C charge pulses and 100 ps stop-start timing resolution, including the multi-gap resistive plate chamber (MRPC) detectors.
A 192-channel prototype system has been installed
and collected data, achieving sub-50 picosecond RMS
stop-start performance. We are presently scaling these components to deliver 23,000 channels of high-precision TDC data.
